TheSnohomish County Diversion Centeris a 44-bed facility (32 men and 12 women) offering short-term placement and shelter to homeless adults with a substance use disorder and other behavioral health issues, diverting them away from incarceration and toward treatment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Clinical Support Staff is responsible for providing quality health care services to all residents including assessing clinical presentation, facilitating admissions/discharges, referring clients to a higher level of care when out of scope.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Licensed Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Certified First Responder.
  • Must be sensitive, receptive, and mature enough to be neither upset by the clients, nor cause the clients further adjustment difficulties.
  • Must maintain an attitude toward interactions with residents that is objective, free from personal bias; one that allows for perspective and flexibility in observing groups and individual behavior patterns

PREFERABLY YOU'LL BRING

  • Behavioral Health or rehabilitation experience desired.
  • 6 months working in a residential setting.
