Overview

This role will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive online presence across ViaPath corporate, Foundation, and 2C Workforce Solutions accounts as well as managing and promoting the community of users associated with our individual product lines. In this role you need to be highly supportive of ViaPath's mission to help break the cycle of incarceration through transformative technology and services for incarcerated individuals, their support network, correctional agencies, and returning citizens. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the social media calendar across all channels. Fostering a sense of community by crafting content that prompts responses or conversations, coordinating contests, or producing other interactive content. Triaging and responding to comments and DMs and developing online and in person events for our user communities.

Responsibilities
    Create and manage a monthly editorial calendar to increase awareness, engagement and allow for a steady flow of communications across all channels to all audiences.
  • Manage content creation and execution process for social media, including crafting social posts and tracking social media engagement and analytics.
  • Measure the success of specific communications and tailor future communications to improve effectiveness.
  • Assist with online reputation management, managing the company brand and its usage and consistency of its usage internally and externally.
  • Moderate discussions and content; triaging and responding to community inquiries and feedback as appropriate.
  • Monitor and report on media mentions and industry news.
  • Engage with external user groups including correctional associations and inmate family councils (IFC).
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies including surveys, contests and other interactive content including organizing in person community events as appropriate.
  • Collect and curate end user and customer testimonials.
  • Monitor and analyze data to assess community engagement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree - marketing, communications, or journalism preferred; equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • Exceptional writer, with the ability to synthesize complex content into clear and engaging communications. Able to create storylines.
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively and efficiently; work in a fast-paced environment while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Comfortable navigating new or developing situations with grace and professionalism. Adept at finding solutions that satisfy competing points of view.
  • Ability to pivot and work on multiple projects at a time, manage priorities and timelines, all while confirming quality and accuracy.
  • Proven experience at creating innovative content across a variety of social and other media.
  • Experience using content development tools a plus (i.e., Canva, Hootsuite, Hubspot, etc. )
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a highly collaborative team.
