Job Description

This posting is being utilized to build an external talent pipeline for Ecolab's Finance function.

We are seeking talented Executive Finance Leader(s) to join Ecolab's Global Finance team.Opportunities could range from Division Finance, Corporate FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, and other Commercial Finance roles. As a key partner to the business, you will be responsible for designing and driving the business' short and long term financial and operating plans to accelerate sales growth and maximize operation income.

The successful candidate (s) will have broad Finance and/or Accounting experience to include FP & A, financial modeling and analysis, and budgeting and forecasting with the ability to lead & execute to achieve business objectives. In addition, this individual will be a recognized talent leader and a highly inclusive professional with the ability to collaborate, partner and influence key stakeholders, including Executive Leaders to achieve goals.

We are looking nationwide for talent, and ideally mobile talent, as positions could be available in St Paul, MN; Naperville, IL; Greensboro, NC; King of Prussia, PA; or Houston, TX.

What You Will Do:

  • Report, analyze, and summarize sales and operational performance results including variance and trend analysis, risks and opportunity assessment, identification and follow up of corrective actions, and driving fact-based business decision-making
  • Provide commercial decision support and governance for digital platforms, across the group, including partnering with the business on financial modeling and returns, productivity assessment, price strategy and cap ex decision support
  • Manage business reporting and analytics team, driving consistent, sustainable and leverageable digital visualization tools to deliver actionable insights across the business
  • Partner with Senior Division Leadership and portfolio management teams to analyze and improve understanding of business and product segment revenue and profit performance
  • Deliver materials and provide support for key internal and external presentations including board of director meetings and investor relations
  • Serve as liaison between the global business management teams and Corporate Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations, Audit, Supply Chain, Risk Management and Corporate Development Teams; ensure key objectives are communicated to staff and key stakeholders
  • Develop strong business process and control environment for functional expenses
  • Support acquisition and divestiture activities as needed, including deal financial modeling, due diligence and integration planning and execution
  • Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and development to financial associates to achieve business results, preparing them for future responsibilities and new career opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 10 years experience with relevant experience in FP&A and/or Finance/Accounting Operations, and including four years of successful team management
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysis, and budgeting and forecasting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA and CPA preferred
  • Global Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred with proven success operating in multi divisional global matrix organization
  • Demonstrated leadership success in building high performing and engaged teams, which includes attracting, retaining and developing high potential talent while building a team culture of collaboration and inclusion
  • Strong Leadership presence with excellent presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and develop positive business relationships
  • Experience working with Senior level executives, including SVP's, GM and VP's
  • Results driven and high energy individual that thrives in an environment characterized by growth, change and opportunity
  • Previous functional experience as Regional Divisional CFO, or within M & A Integration, Treasury, Investor Relations, Accounting or public accounting
  • Strong technical acumen, with ERP implementation background
