OverviewThe Microsoft Search, Assistant, and Intelligence (MSAI) team is responsible for developing and delivering innovative solutions for Microsoft 365 Copilot. We work on integrating intelligence and natural language capabilities into all the Microsoft 365 apps. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be developing the design and implementation of several critical services that support M365 Copilot. ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:Developing design and implementation of software solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and scalability requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust and scalable designs. Write code and actively contribute to the software development effort, especially critical components of the design. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to early in career developers. Optimize existing systems and applications for cloud deployment, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.Stay abreast of industry trends, especially in the fields of Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance the software architecture and keep the organization at the forefront of innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to ensure a cohesive and effective development process.
