OverviewUX & Foundation spans the Microsoft ecosystem of web experiences, aligned with our principal goal to make the web a better place for everyone on the planet. UX & Foundation is a suite of products and services that includes Copilot, Bing, Microsoft News, our Advertising Platform, Edge browser, and Maps. The UX Platform team is looking for a Senior UX/UI Engineer who will create the next generation of the front-end platform to power all our global web experiences. You will be building scalable, quality, and performance frontend frameworks. You will be part of a team of best-in-class engineers, solve technical challenges, and stretch the capabilities of distributed systems. As a a Senior UX/UI Engineer you will build design systems and pro-actively problem-solver= with a passion for getting the details right. They know these technologies down to the core - their strengths and their weaknesses. Their deep understanding of these technologies allows them to make informed architectural decisions and appropriate trade-offs when necessary. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain frontend framework code that empowers developers to create fast and efficient web applications. Collaborate with UX developers to implement innovative features and experiences to enhance user satisfaction. Ensure framework is optimized for security, performance and responsiveness across browsers and devices. Work along with operations to ensure products maintain a high availability signal. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to maintain code quality and reliability. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
