Your opportunity
This role will be crucial to create an innovative cloud platform that scales from "0 to 100" within minutes, convenient and friendly for the engineers in the multi-cloud/multi region environment, and fully supports enterprise grade customers from reliability, security and compliance perspectives. This platform will be a key for the New Relic strategy to grow constantly into various customer segments with no geographical limits..
What you'll do
  • Drive the vision and strategy for the Cloud Platform, evolution, that should support the company growth trajectory and at the same time contribute to the engineering efficiency in rolling their features in multi-cloud/region environments.
  • Build a data-driven roadmap, defining, analyzing, and reporting business and engineering efficiency metrics to meet your OKRs
  • Partner closely with cross organizational engineering, security, compliance and design to collaborate on requirements discovery and product development.
  • Effectively manage dependencies, priorities, and plans across multiple teams and functions across New Relic to ensure alignment to meet business goals
  • Develop a 3yr vision and roadmap for the Cloud Platform team that aligns with the company expansion vision, engineering productivity goals and the overall product strategy.
  • Capture the customer and engineering requirements and lead a successful development of a feature set that will convert the existing platform fragments into a holistic platform as a service concept that supports enterprise grade multi-cloud/multi-region product evolution.

This role requires
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience building and launching technical products as a Product Manager or a customer facing Software/System Architect (w/cloud services focus)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Bonus points if you have
  • Familiarity with system compliance standards such as FedRamp, HIPAA
  • Experience with frameworks/services like Amazon: Aurora, EKS, MSK; Azure: Cosmos DB, AKS; Google: GKE, Cloud SQL; Confluent Cloud.
  • Familiarity with cloud managed services for K8s, DBs and cloud network enablers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Experience in managing requirements/building cloud managed services for any cloud provider
  • Experience in building cloud SaaS products for engineers with focus on high scale platforms with intensive utilization of K8s, SQL/NoSQL DBs, Kafka, CDNs
  • Computer Science background preferred

Estimated Base Pay Range: $ 162,000 - $ 203,000
The pay range above represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
