Job Description
OverviewOur team builds the Microsoft Inference Cloud, a scalable and reliable service that delivers SaaS inferencing with large language models (LLMs) on multi-billion dollar GPU capacity. Inference cloud is the foundational service for all Microsoft Copilots, Azure OpenAI, and ISV hosted models like Llama, Mistral, Cohere, and others, providing a unified and consistent experience for customers and developers. As the number of scenarios and customer usage of Copilot(s) increases, an efficient fabric optimizing availability and utilization of inference capacity is the key to fulfilling the fast-pace demand growth. ResponsibilitiesBuild, deliver, and support high-quality distributed services to power the Gen-AI revolution. Technical leadership, coaching and mentoring a team of highly skilled Software Engineers. Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of platform while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale. Guide discussions for the architecture of products/solutions and create proposals for architecture by testing design hypotheses and helping to refine code plans. Provide reactions, proposed solutions, and inputs to architects. Other:Embody our Culture and Values
