As a member of the Wealth Management & Advisory Services (WMAS) team, participates in the management of client investment portfolios with the goal of exceeding client expectations. Provides excellent customer service to clients (both internal and external), in relation to client accounts and servicing. Works in partnership with both the Client Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers/Associates.

Essential Functions

  • Provides in-depth account analysis, research, and recommendations to PMs and RMS as requested.
  • Supports Client PM meetings by preparing report packages and analysis for the Client PM in advance of client meetings, participating in client meetings as requested by RM/PM.
  • Prepares analysis and commentary for requests that arise from client meetings, meeting with Client PM to review and discuss client needs.
  • Actively participates in team meetings, providing insight and thoughts on topics discussed.
  • Effectively communicates with leadership regarding project timelines, deadlines, and problems that may arise.
  • Tracks and monitors outstanding items to ensure timely completion. Follows up with RM/PM to determine resolution of outstanding items including delayed implementations, outstanding IPS or IPS questions, multi-year implementations, etc.
  • Supports Portfolio Analysts by performing duties necessary to handle overflow volumes.
  • Cross trains in Client Portfolio Manager role as part of career path to ultimately progress to a Client PM position.
  • Acts as subject matter expert for Portfolio Analysts and assists as necessary to ensure projects, tasks and requests are accurate and completed timely.
  • Reviews processes and procedures regularly to ensure accuracy, working with leadership as updates are identified.
  • Reviews monthly performance reports generated by SEI to ensure accuracy or make corrections before releasing performance reports to WMAS.
  • Research performance questions or issues SEI when received from WMAS staff.
  • Monitor, follow up, and submit Initial account reviews that have not been implemented to ensure completion within standard timeframe.
  • Completes Portfolio Diagnostic requests in coordination with Client Portfolio Managers.
  • Participates in networking opportunities throughout the Bank.
  • Completes other duties as required or assigned.
  • Performs compliance and risk management duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience with analytics/portfolio management/client relationships.
  • Knowledge of various investment instruments and strategies a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Efficient in office suite with exceptional excel knowledge.
  • Executes strong time management skills to allow the completion of all tasks and requests timely and accurately.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks without a loss of efficiency or accuracy.
  • Displays client friendly communication skills (written and verbal) when communicating with WTB staff and clients.

Compensation: $71,929 - $107,894

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is eligible to participate in an applicable annual incentive plan.
