As a Senior Product Manager focused on security, you will have the unique opportunity to drive the development and enhancement of the identity and access management capabilities within the Snowflake data platform, app, and production environment. As a PM in this role:

  • You will partner with our Marketplace, Native Application, and Snowpark Container Services teams to define and implement native app and container identity and access requirements.
  • You will work with external customers and internal Snowflake teams to develop our long term platform bets like zero trust or attribute based access management and deliver on that vision by partnering with all consuming teams.

This is a high-impact role that requires strong technical acumen, deep understanding of security principles, and exceptional product management skills.

AS A SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and industry experts to gather insights and understand evolving security requirements.
  • Translate customer needs and market insights into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly security features.
  • Partner with the marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support product launches.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security-related topics, both internally and externally.
  • Monitor and analyze key product metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to drive continuous product improvements.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) as a Product Manager, preferably in the field of enterprise software or cloud computing
  • Deep understanding of security principles, best practices, and industry standards
  • Have the ability to design complex security features/processes while focusing on ease-of-use for the end user
  • Define and drive the security product roadmap for Snowflake, aligned with the company's overall strategy and vision.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partnerships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Have excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical design in 20 seconds or 20 minutes, depending on the audience and goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-quality results.
  • Have proven experience defining a product vision and roadmap and managing incremental execution through successful launches.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $187,000 - $276,000.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
