Job Description

Be unstoppable with us!
T-Mobile is synonymous with innovation-and you could be part of the team that disrupted an entire industry! We reinvented customer service, brought real 5G to the nation, and now we're shaping the future of technology in wireless and beyond. Our work is as exciting as it is rewarding, so consider the career opportunity below as your invitation to grow with us, make big things happen with us, above all, #BEYOU with us. Together, we won't stop!

As the Senior Strategy & Planning Manager, you will support the President of Marketing, Strategy, & Product (MSP), the Office of the President, and the MSP leadership team in planning and implementing strategic, operational, and financial activities. Your primary responsibility is to make sure the President is always prepared and briefed for engagements with a variety of internal and external customers (agencies, partners, investors, shareholders, Board of Directors, senior leadership team, etc.). No task is too big or too small for you as you collaborate with colleagues of all levels, from Analysts to Senior VPs, to keep the President sharp and in the know. In addition, you will help refine a management reporting process and cadence for the organization by working closely with MSP working teams to consolidate, analyze, and fine-tune insights for the team. You will also help drive special projects for the President, his Chief of Staff, and his broader leadership team and provide outstanding leadership and management to the organization to help the group deliver on business goals.
A big part of this role will be developing key insights, crafting actionable plans, and fostering informed decision-making and recommendations for the highest level of our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Technology, and help drive initiatives that propel us towards our business objectives and ensure alignment with our overarching strategic goals.
We're looking for someone with more than just a strategic mentality and business sense - success in this role requires a high degree of charisma, executive presence, discretion, tenacity, critical thinking, storytelling, slide design, project management, and clear and concise communication.

What You Will Bring:

  • Strategic Mentality: Ability to think one step ahead; coming to the table with long-term strategies and priorities in mind to inform our immediate next steps; armed with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Executive Presence & Communication: Partner with executives to present complex concepts and ideas using PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, a phone call, or text, to succinctly communicate to executives with knowledge and transparency.
  • Business Insights: You thrive in an environment that is always on the move and have your finger on the pulse of our highly matrixed organization, understanding marketing, strategy, and product like nobody's business.
  • Quantitative Analysis: Numbers are your playground, and Excel is your best friend. With advanced analytical skills and strong data-based decision-making, you'll investigate business problems, emerging with insights and guidance an executive audience.
  • Market Research: From competitive analysis to market positioning, you're a go-to for understanding macro trends and competitors and will understand our ever-evolving industry like the back of your hand.
  • Partnership: Cross-functional relationships are your jam, and you navigate the organizational maze with ease. From the boardroom to the break room, you'll build bridges that bring teams together for success.
  • Problem Solving: Uncertainty and complexity don't faze you; they inspire you! Whether working solo or leading a team, you'll address challenges head-on, turning obstacles into opportunities with your creative solutions and quick thinking.
  • Project Management: With your eye for detail and ability to juggle priorities, you'll ensure all our goals hit the mark, every time. From high-priority projects to daily tasks, you'll keep the wheels turning, without sacrificing quality or strategic perspective.

Work Experience:

  • Experience: 4-10 years of progressive experience and responsibility in corporate strategy, strategic planning, strategy and operations, business analysis, or other strategic/operational roles requiring executive presentation and communication skills.

Who You Are:

  • Motivated: Be unstoppable with us! With a natural "can do" attitude, you'll stop at nothing to make your mark to aim to success.
  • High Standards: Aim high and push boundaries, seek ways to improve - even when nobody's watching.
  • Structured: No matter how big, small, or uncertain the problem is, you bring structure, build clarity, and break down next steps into manageable components.
  • Storyteller: You're not just conveying information; your narratives captivate and encourage. As a brilliant storyteller, you'll distill sophisticated ideas into stories that resonate with key partners and drive us towards our goals.
  • Teammate: Building positive relationships across functions comes naturally to you, and you're always ready to lend a helping hand to support the team and the broader organization.
