Job Description:

The Specialist, HR Learning and Development will design, implement, and evaluate learning initiatives that enable our organization to evolve and thrive in an ever-changing landscape. Develop and track the L&D budget. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including global partners, to identify current and future skills requirements and develop flexible learning interventions to meet the diverse needs of our workforce. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify organizational learning needs and gaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define learning objectives and goals aligned with business objectives.
  • Design innovative and engaging learning programs that leverage motivational and behavioral science principles.
  • Develop a variety of learning interventions, including digital courses, workshops, simulations, job aids, and coaching programs.
  • Utilize technology and learning platforms to deliver and track learning experiences effectively.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through data analysis, feedback mechanisms, and performance metrics.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating new methodologies and technologies into learning solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal subject matter experts, external vendors, and learning partners to enhance learning experiences.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on learning opportunities and resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related field. 5+ years' related experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5 years' proven experience in learning and development, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in application of motivational and behavioral science principles as applied in learning design.
  • Proven ability to stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Project management, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Bi-lingual: English/French preferred.
  • Instructional design methodologies and learning techniques, Expert
  • MS Office Suite, Expert

Additional experience for Sr. Specialist:

  • 7 years'proven experience in learning and development, preferably in a corporate environment.

Compensation:

  • Specialist
    • This position pays $67,725 to $90,750,depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises.
  • Sr. Specialist
    • This position pays $68,250 to $107,250,depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises.
