Join Our Team as a Casual Banquet Captain at Fairmont Olympic Hotel! Are you a natural leader with a passion for orchestrating exceptional banquets and events? Fairmont Olympic Hotel is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Banquet Captain to lead our banquet operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Banquet Execution: Oversee all aspects of banquet and event execution, ensuring seamless service and top-tier guest experiences.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the banquet team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Client Interaction: Foster strong client relationships by understanding their event requirements, coordinating details, and ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness, upholding the Fairmont brand's reputation for excellence.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with event planners, chefs, and other departments to plan and coordinate successful events, from setup to breakdown.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards to create a safe and secure environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications
  • Work Authorization: Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.
  • Certifications: Food Handers Card and MAST permit required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in banquet operations, including a minimum of [number of years] years in a leadership role.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
