The Research IT - Cyberinfrastructure Group at The Jackson Laboratory is in search of a System Administrator (SA) deeply entrenched in Linux and High Performance Computing (HPC). We're looking for someone passionate about engineering, configuring, and optimizing systems hardware and software within our IT infrastructure. Our SAs are the backbone of our Linux-based systems, including ESX VMware, SAN and NAS storage, Unix/Linux environments, and High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters, driving continual innovation.
We need SAs who thrive in a collaborative environment, working independently or in teams, sharing knowledge across the board. Instead of hierarchical distinctions, we value the autonomy and expertise each SA brings. As you progress, you'll take on more responsibilities, from advanced troubleshooting to leading smaller IT initiatives and training junior team members.

The salary range is $73,305 - $122,730. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
