Shipping and Receiving and Driver
Job Summary:
Primary duty is to support production control group doing packaging and shipping duties along with inventory stocking and picking and driving of company van.
Essential Functions:
- Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Attach labels and prepare packaging.
- Support the shipment of goods produced. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintain the work area/equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Delivers and picks up from local suppliers in company vehicle
Qualifications:
- Proven reliability
- Good driving record
- Self-motivated with ability to work under general supervision
- Team oriented with effective communication skills
- Attention to detail -Hard worker - Good attitude
Physical Demands:
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, climb, reach and move about the facility
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Work Environment
- Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
