Job/Internship Description

Responsibilities

As a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Intern, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, contributing to the development and refinement of complex systems through the application of model-based methodologies. You will gain hands-on experience in utilizing cutting-edge tools and techniques to design, analyze, and optimize systems across various domains. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and gain valuable insights into the field of systems engineering.

During this internship, you will collaborate with senior engineers to understand project requirements and objectives as well as the following:

* Assist in the development of system architecture models using industry-standard MBSE tools such as SysML or similar platforms.

* Support the creation and documentation of system requirements, interfaces, and constraints within the model.

* Participate in design reviews and contribute to the identification and resolution of technical issues.

* Assist in the integration of subsystem models and verification of overall system functionality.

* Document and communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.

* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and methodologies.

This is a 3 month paid internship with flexible start date. The opportunity is based in Bellevue, WA. You will be expected to follow a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

* Familiarity with model-based systems engineering principles and methodologies is preferred.

* Proficiency in modeling languages such as SysML, UML, or similar is a plus.

* Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architecture, Cameo Collaborator Teamwork Cloud, or MagicDraw is desirable.

* Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA and ENOVIA is desirable.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and translate complex requirements into system models.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

* Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude towards tackling new challenges.

* Prior internship or coursework related to systems engineering, software engineering, or related disciplines is beneficial.

The total expected compensation range for this role will be between $22 and $40. In determining the pay range, we take into consideration experience, pay of employees in similar positions, and other job-related factors.
