Valiant is seeking a Team Leader General for W-TRS. Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Hawaii, Germany, Korea, and potential additional CONUS locations.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
- Brief, instruct, and train Army users on installation/de-installation.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up, maintenance, and perform mission tasks utilizing Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS)
- Maintains existing exportable training support packages that integrate training products and materials necessary to train the system.
- Manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects.
- Serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
- Reviews status of projects and budgets
- Manage schedules and prepares status reports
- Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Mental/Physical requirements for this role include:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate.
- Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height.
- Willing to work a flexible workweek.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post driving privileges.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be able to gain access to military installation.
- 8 years' experience in TADSS management/ maintenance operations or combination of senior military experience.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree
- US citizenship is required. Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
Desired Skills:
Previous Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly desired
