Valiant is seeking an Electrician, Maintenance for W-TRS. Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea and potential additional CONUS locations.

Essential job duties include but are not limited to: a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.

Responsibilities:

• Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment.
• Working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating, and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting to locate and determine the cause of equipment malfunctions.
• Understanding of standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
• Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in ISTS.

Mental/Physical requirements for this role include:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate. Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height.
• Willing to work a flexible workweek.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post driving privileges.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
• This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be able to gain access to military installation.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to trouble shoot basic electronics.
• Must be detail oriented.
• US citizenship is required. Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent, Accredited Trade school Electrician Certification
• (5) years' experience with Electrical Maintenance

Desired Skills:

• Previous Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly
