OverviewThe mission of the Health & Life Sciences (HLS) Organization is aligned with the quadruple aim: to improve the patient experience, improve the healthcare provider experience (restore joy in work), deliver better patient outcomes, and do it at lower cost. It does this through a purpose-built data and AI platform, specialized for HLS needs. The HLS platform serves Microsoft's own HLS solutions as well as 3rd party developers. The HLS Platform team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to support our team in articulating and executing on prioritis, with the goal of maximizing output and value. You will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders in engineering, product management, and strategic alliances to ensure that our platform services and features are best aligned with the goals of the HLS organization, our customers, and our third party solution vendors. ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the underlying value proposition and goals of multiple technical projects, ensure alignment of priorities to those goals,and represent the project teams across organizational boundaries. Create relationships to drive orchestration, integration, and implementation efforts for multiple features areas for large cross functional projects with internal teams and external partners. Partner with the engineering team to contribute, prioritize, and deliver on the roadmap for multiple feature areas. Manage and communicate project schedules (e.g., epics, sprint/semester plans, milestones, timelines, releases) Track and manage dependencies to enable cohesive, connected scenarios, and identify potential risk areas and escalate appropriately. Drive the alignment of initiatives to Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both internal or external groups across divisional boundaries and influence leadership on objectives. Lead governance programs and processes to ensure specific performance requirements and standards are met throughout the various team initiatives (e.g., quality, compliance privacy, security, safety, accessibility).
