Our advisory team is leveraging our existing client partnerships, while complementing our traditional engineering services to better meet our clients' needs and help them realize their goals. With a focus on alternative procurement, business case development, and sustainability, our team is ambitiously growing.

Due to recent project success and the continued growth of our advisory team, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Advisory Consultant with experience of alternative procurement models such as P3, Design Build (DB), Progressive Design Build (PDB), and Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC).

Job Description:
First and foremost, this is a diverse role. You'll be responsible for supporting in client engagement, supporting in the development of key project deliverables, whilst concurrently focusing on opportunities for growth.
More specifically, on a day-to-day basis the successful candidate will support the delivery of multiple strategic projects for both public sector and private sector clients by leading mandates related to procurement options analysis, procurement document and contract development as well as project set up for major infrastructure projects.

Typical work will involve:

  • Supporting public sector authorities with strategic advice for the procurement, delivery and operations of their infrastructure programs and projects;
  • Structuring and developing procurement documentation, including but not limited to alternative forms of procurement such as P3s, CMGCs, and PDBs;
  • Supporting and/or leading business case development;
  • Project management mandates;
  • Drafting reports and project audits;
  • Supporting risk management for both internal and external mandates;
  • Supporting and leading the preparation of proposals;
  • Internal project management (including budgets) and reporting;
  • Business development and client engagement; and,
  • Supporting initiatives for the regional and global business.

Candidates who can demonstrate the following skills and experience will be considered for the role:

  • A post-secondary degree with 5 - 10 years of career experience related to the development of technical procurement documentation, engineering and/or infrastructure development;
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of preparing P3, CMGC or PDB contracts.
  • Developed standard operating procedures and project / program governance.
  • Familiar and proficient with project management processes.
  • Experience of projects in multiple sectors (e.g. Built environment, Transportation, Water, Energy etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience of risk identification, management and mitigation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of leading and working within a team.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Positive attitude, team player.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000
