***Preferred local to Maui. Position is open to remote; however, travel as needed is required.***

Acuity International is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our commercial construction projects. As the Construction Manager - Commercial Projects, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the execution of various commercial projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee commercial construction projects of varying scales.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.

  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

  • Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Communicate project updates, milestones, and issues to stakeholders and clients.

  • Resolve any project-related challenges or conflicts.

  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.

  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CM or equivalent role

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager in commercial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, codes, and regulations.

  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality projects.

  • Must be in proximity of project location as client requires

  • Travel to project location if not local to project

  • Must be a US Citizen
