**Compensation Update: The pay scale is $18.57 - $26.00 USD.**

The Physical Therapy Aide provides direct patient therapy for our Home Health agency. This position works under a licensed Physical Therapist, performs assessments, and prescribed home exercise program, as assigned, with home-bound patients. Monday - Friday approximately 0800 - 430p. Collaborates with other team members, including PT, OT, RN, SLP, and MSW. Requires reliable vehicle and ability to drive in increment weather, if needed. This team member will provide high level therapy and customer service to a variety of patients, including post-joint/ replacement surgery, or those who have other rehabilitation needs related to disease process or deconditioning. Current federal reimbursement rate provided for all mileage incurred for work purposes. Business address is at Cottage in the Meadow, but this position is for a field clinician doing home visits.

Position Summary

This position is a non-licensed worker who is specifically trained under the direction of a Physical Therapist to perform designated routine tasks related to the operation of a physical therapy service. This position, when providing direct service to patients, may function only with the continuous on-site supervision of the physical therapist or, where allowable by law and/or regulation, the physical therapist assistant. This position works under direct supervision. Work situations are basically routine, yet require attention to detail. Internal contacts occasionally include other patient services staff. External contacts are extensive with patients and may also include patient family and physicians.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in Physical Therapy department or related training

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $16.28 - $21.56 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
