A-Team Solutions LLC is seeking Phlebotomist for the VA Outpatient Clinic in Olympia, WA.
Shifts would be day shift Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture procedures on outpatient and inpatient veterans.

- Accession and process laboratory specimens in accordance with VA and College of American

Pathologists' regulations.

- Greet and log specimen orders in for outpatient veterans.

Requirements:

- High school graduate.

- Completed a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS)

certified phlebotomy training program.

- Minimum 1 year experience in phlebotomy in an inpatient or outpatient setting.

- Experience with accessioning of laboratory specimens

- Experience with processing of laboratory specimens

- Capable of reading standard operating procedures and adhering them to the current laboratory

processes.

- Communicate clearly the daily status and problems about the laboratory output to team

members and senior management of the service.

- Computer literate.

- Phlebotomy Technician (PBT), American Society of Clinical Pathology, or eligibility pending within 3

months of start date.
