Position Title: Employee Housing Housekeeper

Business Unit or Department: Human Resources

Position Reports to: Employee Housing Manager, Housing Attendant

Location: Housing Facilities, Crystal Mountain, WA

Wage Range: 20.00 - 22.00 hourly DOE

POSITION SUMMARY

The Employee Housing Housekeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the Employee Housing Campus residences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Cleans and stocks dorm bathrooms.
  • Keeps entryways, hallways and common spaces vacuumed and debris-free.
  • Reports maintenance requirements to Housing Attendant.
  • Cleans employee common areas.
  • Assists in snow removal and maintaining the outdoor common spaces, including decks and walkways.
  • Deep cleans vacant rooms to prepare for new residents to move in.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Previous Housekeeping Experience preferred.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Should possess strong verbal communication skills to deal effectively with employees, supervisors, and management personnel.
  • Ability to accurately maintain housing records and perform administrative functions.
  • Position requires the ability to lift to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to bend constantly, accurately carry out instructions, able to do repetitive tasks and have an attention to detail.
  • Must be able to stand and walk on various floor surfaces for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to walk, twist, crouch, push, pull and climb stairs throughout shift.
