Job Summary

This position is responsible for developing Social Media strategy and objectives; leading community management and championing, optimizing, and monitoring social media and Online Community presences across Henry Schein One.  This includes, where and when necessary, managing corporate and divisional resources implementing Social Media initiatives.

What you will do

  • Integrates with internal stakeholder groups including Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, Service and Support, Product, Legal, Engineering and Human Resources to understand their unique goals, objectives and challenges and optimize processes and communication across the organization.
  • Defines Henry Schein One’s ongoing position on the use of social media by identifying effective goals and strategies. Optimizes investments in and managing company relationships with social media marketing, monitoring, management, and analytics vendors.
  • Manages engagement, communication, and strategy across all Henry Schein One social media communities, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and emerging channels to engage community and drive brand awareness and affinity.
  • Executes ongoing monitoring brand social channels and relevant online conversations, identifying opportunities to engage, while understanding, addressing, and surfacing customer insights
  • Gauges sentiment and inform strategic development of content by surfacing meaningful qualitative and quantitative insights from our communities.
  • Engages with influencers and the community through social listening and proactive outreach.
  • Evolves, adapts, and improves our community engagement strategies and guidelines.
  • Ideates and executes unique, engaging social media activations to develop innovative custom content tailored to each channel/community.
  • Contributes and drives channel-specific programming calendars that cater to targeted audiences and ladder up to overall marketing and business goals.
  • Ensures social media experiences and campaigns meet marketing objectives and branding guidelines protecting the integrity of the Henry Schein One and product brands and driving sales to profit the business.
  • Champions groundbreaking social media and marketing programs in the B2B Healthcare space delivering dynamic high value online experiences.

Qualifications

Must have:

  • Typically 6 to 8 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
  • Experience in managing social media and community for large brands, particularly in regulated industries
  • Prior experience with social media and digital communication tools
  • Willing to experiment with new approaches and tools
  • Expertise in creating processes and guidelines for scalability
  • Good instinct and strong judgement, especially in scenarios that require quick decision-making
  • Excellent understanding of industry practices
  • Strong proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures
  • Strong planning/organizational skills and techniques
  • Strong decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to deliver difficult messages
  • Ability to build partnerships at all levels within the company, ability to build partnerships externally
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Resolve complex issues in effective ways
  • Project management, consultative skills and ability to manage a budget

Nice to have:

  • Master's degree or global equivalent a plus

    The posted range for this position is $88,160-$132,240 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a 10% bonus not reflected in the posted range.
