Asset Preservation, Inc. (API) is a leadingnational Qualified Intermediary ("QI"). A Qualified Intermediary is needed when investors want to defer thecapital gain taxes due on the sale of an investment property by utilizing anIRC *1031 tax deferred exchange. The*1031 tax deferred exchange is one of the most effective tax strategies used byreal estate investors nationwide. API is a subsidiary of Stewart (NYSE: STC),the third largest title insurance company in the world, and we have handledover 180,000 exchange transactions in our twenty nine year history.

We are looking for a key sales professional tojoin our dynamic organization. This is a very rewarding business developmentposition in the dynamic *1031 exchange industry. The right person should havesome background and relationships in commercial real estate and/or tax or realestate attorney professions. Previous experience and relationships in the *1031QI industry is certainly a plus. This person should also be a self-starter withinitiative, excellent people skills, and enjoy public speaking and educatingothers on the wide range of investment options available using *1031 taxdeferred exchanges. The Division Manager will be responsible for marketingAPI's Qualified Intermediary services primarily to commercial real estateindustry and generating new exchange orders from referral sources such as commercialbrokers, developers, escrow officers, real estate agents, accountants, realestate and tax attorneys, financial planners and investment property owners.

This position provides a tremendous opportunityto earn an excellent income. The combination of higher tax rates and investorsowning assets with significant gain has increased the demand for QI services. Compensationis a combination of salary and a commission based upon the revenue receivedfrom new open exchange orders generated from your sales efforts.

Job Summary:
The Division Manager is responsible for marketing Asset Preservation Inc.'s (API) Exchange "Qualified Intermediary" services so that we become the recognized leader in the territory, thereby significantly increasing new open exchanges in territory. The Division Manager is responsible for marketing services to accountants, attorneys, closing officers, commercial brokers, financial advisors, residential agents, real estate investors and others in the real estate industry who can refer new exchange business to API.

Job Roles:

*Develop a marketing plan that progresses towards specific business development objectives
*Organizes and tracks the day-to-day operations and assignment of staff to projects

Role Specific Knowledge:
*Must possess a strong work ethic, specifically with the focus on producing results quickly
*Self-starter with initiative to achieve established goals
*Proven leadership skills; ability to direct others and make important decisions
*Excellent people skills and excels in public speaking and educating others on the wide range of investment options available
*Ability to be perceptive and persuasive
*Exceedingly well organized
*Ability to interact with staff, board members and the public with a high level of professionalism
*Maintains and develops strong vendor relationships
*High level of computer knowledge

Education, Licensure, and Experience:
*Completion of a High School diploma or GED required and completion of an associate degree in any equivalent field is preferred.
*Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial position which includes experience in title industry.
