The challenge

As a Curriculum Strategist, you are an integral part of this mission - responsible for defining the curriculum strategy and roadmap for our employee, partner and customer training offerings. You will have an in-depth understanding of the solution roadmap and how technical job roles use solutions to address business objectives.

What you will do

The Curriculum Strategist has global responsibility within a defined portfolio of Adobe Enterprise Cloud products. They are an individual contributor with a broad span of influence within Adobe. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure we are providing the highest impact technical training, in a timely manner, by guiding strategic direction for all aspects of the curriculum portfolio, to include:
  • Work with key partners across Adobe to create a comprehensive forward-looking plan for curriculum that addresses their business requirements.
  • Develop detailed scoping documents for required training assets and/or programs that include justification for the investment (expected consumption, strategic value, etc) and information on content requirements (audience, development type, modality, learning outcomes, content to duration, SME support, etc).
  • Lead formal intake process to analyze, evaluate and prioritize proposed content development projects.
  • Portfolio expert on inventory of existing content across multiple organizations.
  • Perform quarterly "read outs" for all stakeholders to review the current curriculum strategy and roadmap.
  • Monitor learner feedback, consumption and impact of active courses. Identify and communicate required improvements, changes, etc to improve quality, relevance and impact of training.
  • Ensure all course development aligns with the curriculum strategy by reviewing and approving design documents developed by the curriculum development team.
  • Support development of a technically knowledgeable team of curriculum developers by defining training plans, regularly communicating solution strategy, holding knowledge sharing sessions, communicating enablement opportunities/resources, etc within defined solution areas.
What you need to succeed

We are seeking a unique combination of senior level curriculum development experience, strategic vision, technical and interpersonal skills. Specific competencies include:

  • Strong leadership skills - proven ability to establish relationships and lead discussions with various stakeholders and executives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication in English for business and professional settings, including listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to break down complex concepts into manageable topics.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts, how they map to product features and how the features can tackle client business problems to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Instructional design expertise, with shown success in scoping complex learning objectives and developing technical training.
  • Experience working with a global and diverse team across a complex matrix environment.
  • Use of MS Office Suite, MS Project and ideally Adobe content development tools such as InDesign, Captivate, Photoshop and Spark.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design and/or computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a technology company.
