Job Description

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Marketing Analytics intern will assist with current projects and help develop sales and marketing analysis to support the North American Marketing Organization. This individual will work on various sales and marketing analytics projects to support the Lab, Industrial and Retail business units throughout the course of their internship. Within this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Optimization of our SEA program and working locally with MT-NA partners to help improve our SEO rankings - supporting our Partner's SEO efforts as well.
  • Developing improved monthly reporting for SEA and launching to the marketing community
  • Supporting Database Marketing Manager and Marketing Campaigns Manager with various analyses needed for Sales and Marketing activities - activities could include: Campaign reporting, Strategic Growth initiative analysis (Top 100 Companies), Sales Territory Optimization and Segment Captivation initiatives
  • SAP data quality initiatives - data appends, data enrichment and analysis of our current quality to propose additional quality and enrichment activities.
  • Third party and email qualification campaigns - working with telemarketing resources, developing and exciting email marketing to help qualify and re-qualify our customers, prospect and suspect database
  • Documentation of processes in SAP and process improvement for trade show leads

What You Need to Succeed

  • Must be pursuing a (Sophomore, Junior, or Senior) Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university. Applicable fields of study include Marketing, Communications, Business or Engineering.
  • Proficient-to-advanced M/S Office skills including Excel, Access (or other database) Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to use presentation skills is also beneficial for the delivery of logistical and informational aspects of training.
  • Excellent follow-through, ability to meet deadlines, decision making and multi-tasking skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Initiative/self-motivation and creativity.
