Job Description
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred)
  • 5 to 10 years' work experience in designing solutions, business processes, operating models and leading large implementation programs crossing multiple functions in one, or a variety of industries
  • Knowledge of continuous process improvement tools including data analytics, lean methodologies, six sigma and agile and related techniques is strongly preferred
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Comfort with extensive travel
  • A major advantage would be experience with digital transformation of end-to-end journeys at scale, using multiple levers/ technologies in a cohesive way

Who You'll Work WithYou'll be working with McKinsey Implementation - a rapidly growing capability for our firm - in one of our offices in North America. As a member of MI, you'll work closely with our client project teams, providing end-to-end support to ensure the clients are able to deliver and sustain the full benefits of McKinsey's recommended changes. In this role you will work on the best teams to help the best organizations in the world - in private, public, and social sectors - solve their most difficult problems.
What You'll Do
You ensure that clients achieve bottom-line results by working with them from project initiation through implementation.
You will execute the strategy and tactics in existing businesses and in building new businesses. To accomplish this, you'll focus on diagnosing barriers to successful implementation and designing interventions that achieve sustainable results.
You'll have the opportunity to conduct effective pilot improvements and then scale them up for fast results in large, complex organizations.
You'll also coach and build skills in employees, from leaders to the front line, to support their delivery of results.
Additionally, you'll build and operate program and project management functions to accelerate and safeguard improvements, delivering immediate, substantial cash from operational and commercial improvements.
