Intern Pricing & Revenue Management - Mid-Size Law Firm Segment

The Pricing & Revenue Management Intern will provide support and expertise in executing the Mid-Size Law Firm pricing strategy, as well assist in establishing retail pricing across product lines for the Mid-Size Law Firm business. This person will be involved in developing opportunities for strategic programs that drive retention and new sales revenue in within the segment.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Extract, compile and aggregate large quantities of data to support and update pricing models.
  • Present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
  • Enhance spreadsheets leveraged by leadership, sales partners, finance, and marketing and other business colleagues.
  • Evaluate and analyze pricing, opportunity (white space), and profitability, along with making recommendations and suggestions to enhance, resolve or bridge any variance.
  • Assist in establishing viable retail pricing models for new products.
  • Participate in shaping pricing strategy that will attain new customer growth while preserving and retaining existing customer base.
  • Work with business partners to analyze, assess and update analyses, established pricing models, and price points on an ongoing basis.
  • Work with business partners on ad-hoc analyses and reporting requests.
  • Provide input into and participate in the enhancement and development of retention and acquisition programs that align with Mid-Size Law Firm's strategic pricing principles.
  • Partner with finance, marketing/database marketing, market research, field sales and other areas to collaboratively explore issues, develop recommendations, and implement solutions.
  • Translate broad strategies into clear objectives and initiatives.
  • Utilize quantitative skills to interpret and assess financial and demographic data to provide recommendations.
  • Interpret and analyze financial and market trends to ensure effective channel strategies and programs for the Segment.
  • Analyze and develop procedures to measure and track success of channel strategies and programs.
  • Manage workload and priorities.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in four-year college majoring in finance, marketing, economics, statistics or a business-related field
  • History of strong academic performance required
  • Experience working in a professional business environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of pricing and/or legal industry a plus
  • Experience analyzing and executing on strategic programs

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Highly developed strategic thinking skills.
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proven reporting and summary experience
  • Proven project management experience
  • Proven ability to collaborate across the organization
  • Expertise with PowerPoint/Excel/Access/Business Objects/SFDC
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Ability to take complex information and summarize for a broad audience of executives, professionals, and field representatives.
  • Must be an action-oriented individual.
