The Opportunity

Ortho is seeking a Technical Operations Engineering Intern for our 2019 Summer Intern Season. As a Technical Operations Engineering Intern you will deliver key technical operations deliverables per the 2019 Operations action plan.

The Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of 2 to 5 key action items identified in the 2019 Technical Operations Action Plan

  • Tasks will include analyzing data and presenting results

  • Preparing and driving execution of qualification documents for plastic injection molding systems

  • Process Supplier change requests

Deliverables

  • Completed and approved qualifications

  • The intern will present a poster on his/her work.

The Qualifications

  • Undergraduate in the Field of Study of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum Year in School: 2
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Knowledge of statistics

  • Ability to read CAD drawings

  • Understanding of GD&T preferred

  • Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills
